A near-complete run of Tomart's Disneyana Update, the collector magazine from Tom Tumbusch and Tomart Publications that covered Disney merchandise, Disneyana conventions, theme park collectibles and the rise of pin trading. This lot is 51 issues: No. 1 through No. 54, not including No. 25, No. 51 and No. 52.
The run starts with the first issue from 1994 and follows the hobby into the 2000s. Covers include Carl Barks, the Walt Disney Classics Collection, Charlotte Clark dolls, Marx Disneykins, Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary, Fantasia 2000, Disney's California Adventure, Tokyo DisneySea, Walt Disney's 100th birthday and the Haunted Mansion.
Some of the covers are absolutely stunning, as you can see in the pictures. This is a great way to look back at the historical collectibles Disney has produced over the decades. All the covers are in near-mint condition. Issue #10 has a crease around the middle of the cover, but the rest are in near-mint or better condition and could be graded in the future.
